Strapping Machines

With the JK1219 you can seal normal quality steel straps quickly and securely. The tool is completely manual and needs not external connections.

The JK1219 is very easy to use. It is designed so that you only need four simple movements to deal a strap in just a few seconds.

1. The tool is opened with one hand and positioned over the strap, that is held in place by the other hand.

2. The steel strap is quickly pulled through the tool, and the initial tension held by a ratcheting freewheel.

3. The strap is finally tightened by pulling the tensioning handle, that applies up to 5000 N tension.

4. The strap is punched and cut in one single movement.

The punched strap edges are automatically curved inwards to prevent injury and where necessary to take up any slack. If slack is present the strap can easily be re-tensioned. You just need to place the tool on the strap again, tension and punch as before.

One and the same tool can be used for three different strap widths - 12.7, 16 and 19mm.

By using the extra strap guides supplied with the tool you can easily change from one strap width to another.

The punch and cut depths can be adjusted for different strap thicknesses, in the range 0.40 to 0.64 mm.

The tool is robustly made with few moving parts, of high quality. This makes the tool extremely wear-resistant. It is delivered with a 3 year guarantee.

The JK1219 is admirably suited to either horizontal or vertical strapping of pallets, boxes, cartons, bales and other transport packaging.
